Become a Volunteer
- Complete a volunteer packet
- Obtain current TB clearance:
- TB testing can be done at your primary physician's office or at another facility (Lakeview Health Center, located at 5335 Lakeshore Blvd., in Lakeport. Lakeview Health Center currently does TB testing for $18, call for scheduling: (707) 263-7725.)
- Return the completed packet (including the principal's signature) and your TB test results to the District Office.
- Obtain fingerprint clearance.
- Once the above steps have been completed, the District Office will provide you with a Request for Live Scan Service form. (All volunteers must undergo a fingerprint check through the California Department of Justice pursuant to Education Code 45125.) Make an appointment to be fingerprinted at the Lake County Office of Education at (707) 262-4127 (See Live Scan Applicant Process for more detail).
- HR will let you know once Live Scan results have been received and provide you with online Keenan Mandatory Training information.
- HR will contact you to let you know if you are cleared to volunteer.
- The principal or designee will call you regarding specifics for beginning volunteer services after clearance has been confirmed by Human Resources.
