At KUSD, we understand that supporting our students means supporting our entire community. Our families may sometimes need assistance accessing essential services, and we're here to help connect you with valuable local resources.
KUSD's Student Services team is available to confidentially assist families in finding housing assistance, food resources, clothing programs, healthcare services, mental health support, and much more. We recognize that every family's needs are unique, and we're committed to helping you navigate the available community resources in Lake County.

Redwood Empire Food Bank Distribution
Free food distribution at multiple peer support centers throughout Lake County. Free and open to all community members.

Free Hygiene Closet
Essential hygiene items at no cost including shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, feminine hygiene products, razors, and lotion. No cost. No judgment. Just support.

The Harbor Youth Resource Center
Located in Lakeport, the Harbor Youth Resource Center is a place where transition-age youth can come to find supports and services to help them move from adolescence to adulthood successfully. They do this by providing social, emotional, and physical support and care. Programs provide education support, housing navigation, peer mentorship, health and well-being, employment workshops and more.

Gender Affirming Clothing Closet
Free gender-affirming clothing for youth in transition (up to size 3X) including tucking underwear, chest binders, bras, and bra inserts. Celebrating transgender youth authenticity and self-expression.

Circle of Native Minds Cultural Center
The Circle of Native Minds is a peer support center that provides culturally relevant, wellness-oriented services for the Native American communities of Lake County. This center also offers outreach and engagement for the local tribal communities, training for suicide prevention, and a community meeting place with a tribal history and cultural library.
