The Transportation Services Department at KUSD is committed to supporting the educational process by providing our students with safe and dependable transportation services.
Important: For the 2025-2026 school year, all students must be registered in our new Stopfinder system to receive a bus card, which will be required to ride the bus starting on the first day of school, August 13. More information below.
What We Do
- Daily transportation to and from schools throughout the district
- Transportation for extracurricular field trips
- Transportation for athletic events
- Mechanical maintenance through our on-site garage facility

NEW for 2025-2026: Stopfinder App
In our ongoing effort to improve student safety and enhance communication, we are pleased to announce the implementation of a new transportation management system for the 2025–2026 school year. The Stopfinder parent app is part of this system.
Important Information:
- All students will need a secure bus card to board the bus
- Parents must register their students in the system
- Bus services will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis
- KUSD School Board Administrative Regulation (AR) 3541 shall be in effect. Walking distances shall be enforced.
- Bus cards will be distributed before the start of the school year
- More detailed information and registration instructions will be sent in May 2025
