Airic Guerrero, Principal
Airic Guerrero has dedicated more than 20 years to serving students and schools in various leadership roles in education. He has worked with diverse student populations throughout his career, consistently focused on building inclusive, supportive environments where every student has the opportunity to thrive.
Principal Guerrero's connection to Lower Lake runs deep — he began his career right here at LLHS in the early 2000s as a teacher and coach for Football and Track. He went on to Upper Lake High School, where he taught and coached Football, Girls' Basketball, and Golf for approximately ten years. He then moved into administration at Middletown High School, serving as Dean of Students, Vice Principal, and ultimately Principal — while continuing to coach football along the way.
Over the course of his career, Principal Guerrero has taught a wide range of subjects including Special Education, Science, Math, Driver Education, Health, Introduction to Computers, and Physical Education.
His years as a coach have shaped a team-oriented approach to school leadership. He believes deeply in student-centered learning — that each student is unique, possesses untapped potential, and learns best in an environment that encourages critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. He is equally committed to developing well-rounded individuals, supporting robust extracurricular programs that help students discover their interests, build life skills, and develop a genuine sense of community and belonging.

My priorities for Lower Lake High School include:
