Pick Up & Drop Off Information

Drop-Off Procedure
Please drop your student off in the parking lots across the street. Drive slowly, follow the laws of the road, and be kind — it matters.
Supervision
There is no yard supervision before 7:45 a.m. Please do not drop children off at school before that time. At the end of the school day, students should go home immediately unless they are staying at the request of their teacher. Families will be notified if their child is asked to stay after school.
School Safety
The safety of our students is our top priority. All visitors must check in at the front office when entering campus. Checking in at the office allows us to:
- Know who is on campus at all times
- Ensure that only authorized individuals are with students
- Minimize disruptions to classrooms
- Respond quickly in case of an emergency
By signing in at the office and wearing a visitor sticker, you help us keep our school safe.
Guardian Zones: Parents are not permitted past the green lines unless they have signed in through the front office.
Reminder: The side gate between the elementary school and the high school is not a drop-off or pick-up area. All students must enter and exit campus from the front of the school.
Checking Students Out During the Day
Lower Lake Elementary operates as a closed campus — students are not permitted to leave school grounds during the day. If a child needs to leave for a medical or dental appointment, a parent or guardian must sign them out through the front office. Please make every effort to schedule appointments outside of school hours.
